Marvel Studios Returns to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con [UPDATE]

Comic Con 2014 pre-registration has been delayed.

Marvel Studios is back, baby.

Just as they promised last year when they skipped San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Deadline reports that Marvel Studios is planning to return to SDCC this summer.

While details are scarce on exactly what they’ll bring (will we get the Phase 4 slate? Will it be focused on Disney+ series with a little Black Widow footage sprinkled in?), you can start getting hyped exactly right now.

Earlier this year during the Avengers: Endgame press junket, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gave an interesting answer to IGN, when he said that to even reveal whether or not the studio would attend the convention this year would be a spoiler.

“I don’t wanna be annoying, but I think it … In a certain way, that is also sort of a post-Endgamespoiler,” Feige told IGN.

He clarified slightly, adding that, “I will say all of the post Comic-Con, post Spider-Man: Far From Homestuff, we … Here’s an exclusive. We’re gonna keep making movies. We’re gonna still keep making movies after these two. And we will talk about them soon after Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out.”

With Spider-Man: Far From Home out in just a few weeks, it sounds like they’re gearing up to reveal a whole lot more.

The city of San Diego is already getting all dressed up for the big event, with Marvel Avengers: Engdame banners going up in the Gaslamp and surrounding areas in recent days.

[UPDATE July 2]

Deadline reports now that Marvel fans may get to say goodbe to some of their favorite Avengers. They report that some cast members could show up at either the Russo Brothers. panel (Friday morning at 11AM in Hall H), or on the Saturday night Marvel panel.
