Mondo San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Exclusives [UPDATE July 15]

Collectible powerhouse Mondo is no stranger to San Diego Comic-Con, having cemented themselves as one of the hottest purveyors of exclusive screen printed posters, vinyl records, action figures, apparel and enamel pins.

You can find Mondo at their massive booth, #435 on the exhibit floor. Please note that some of Mondo’s items are only available at specific dates or times — and that new this year, posters will be available when doors open rather than staggered, unless there’s a signing attached. You can find the full schedule on their site.

On Thursday you’ll be able to find Daniel Danger signing his It prints  at 12pm and Golden Globe nominated composer Benjamin Wallfisch signing the Blade Runner 2049 vinyl at 3PM.  On Friday Metal Gear Solid artist Rika Muranaka will be signing at 12PM, followed by World’s End artist Jock at 4pm. Saturday you can catch 100% Soft signing his Alien print at 12PM.

In addition to the two previously announced San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Who Framed Roger Rabbit pins, Mondo’s also bringing a collection of enamel pins for Avengers: Endgame and Transformers by Tom Whalen, as well as a collection of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse pins by Matt Taylor. Both artists are bringing their signature style, and a dash of flair, with these new San Diego Comic-Con exclusives. Each of these pins will be available starting Preview Night when doors open at 6PM.

[UPDATE July 10]

Mondo is celebrating Metal Gear Solid with several San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, as revealed by Mashable— including an 18×24 poster featuring a showdown between Solid Snake and Liquid Snake, with art by Sachin Teng. This poster is limited to only 225 pieces, and will retail for $50.This print will be available when doors open on Friday.

They’ll also have the vinyl soundtrack, which is split across two LPs. This “Gray Fox Edition” comes inside a gatefold jacket with a close-up of Gray Fox’s helmet. It’s limited to 1,000 pieces, will retail for $35 and be available when doors open on Wednesday. Artist signing with Rika Muranaka on Friday at 12PM.

[UPDATE July 9]

We have another Mondo exclusive for SDCC, this time courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter. Mondo will have an exclusive from their hyper-stylized gross-out licensed toy line, Mondoids available at San Diego Comic-Con, Venom Mondoid. Venom will be limited to 500 pieces, available when doors open on Wednesday and will retail for $35. The rest of Series 1 will be available online at Mondo.

 

[UPDATE July 2 – #2]

We’ve got another Mondo San Diego Comic-Con exclusive for you, this time for Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Walfisch’s Blade Runner 2049 score. The SDCC exclusive vinyl features artwork by Viktor Kalvachev, and the clear vinyl that’s white and blue on one LP and opaque and orange on the other. It will be limited to 500 pieces, which you can grab beginning Wednesday, July 17. From Consequence of Sound, here’s a look:

[UPDATE July 2]

Moviefone has revealed Mondo’s first SDCC exclusive, the soundtrack for Who Framed Roger Rabbit on vinyl, and enamel pins by Craig Drake. According to record label manager Mo Shafeek, this is the first time the soundtrack featuring Alan Silvestri’s score has been available on vinyl since it’s initial release 30 years ago. French illustrators Stan & Vince gave new life to the iconic characters on the deluxe cover treatment, featuring a gate fold sleeve and bonus “ACME” prop credits sheet.
