It can feel right now like there’s nothing but bad news out there — but art always remains one of the easiest sources of joy, so here is some legitimately good news: Patrick Ballesteros is launching the second series of his “My QuaranTeam” this Saturday.
The art series features pop culture friends and family in an age of social distancing — but still with his adorable, childlike style. “There is a lot of heaviness in the world right now so I hope this series can give you a moment to pause and fill up with some joy to keep going,” Ballesteros explained. 25% of the proceeds from the series will go directly to Campaign Zero, which focuses on a comprehensive platform of research-based policy solutions to end police brutality in America.
The three five art prints are 4″x10″ each, on fine art linen paper, and will retail for $15 each (with the above-mentioned 25% of proceeds going towards Campaign Zero), and feature many of your favorite childhood and horror characters.
There will also be a limited edition print for $18, entitled “Surfside Pickup”, which is limited to 150 pieces.
Wanna catch ’em all (and we don’t mean the virus)? There will also be a care package available with the five prints, as well as a pin and sticker, for a discounted price of $65. It’s limited to only 30, and there is a limit of 1 per person. The care package doesn’t include the limited edition “Surfside Pickup” print, so you’ll need to purchase that separately.
They will launch on Saturday, June 6 at 9AM on his website.
