WonderPost 2025: Badge Contest, Mike Becker, Elly Sky, Bad Idea

How prepared are you for WonderCon? Have you submitted your Online Exclusives Portal points already, ahead of it closing tomorrow (Thursday, March 20)? Have you checked out the programming schedule? Well, even if you’ve done all of those, there’s still more news on what to buy and do at the convention — including exclusive selfie opportunities and badge contests, to the latest from Bad Idea, collectible cat stickers, and comic sketch covers.

Let’s take a look at the news you might have missed:

  • The WonderCon Online Exclusives Portal closes tomorrow (Thursday, March 20) at 11:59pm PT, so if you haven’t already, don’t forget to submit your points. And good news — WonderCon has added a new offering, a selfie opportunity with Rokimoto’s Mike Becker. Interestingly, this is the first time Comic-Con International has offered a photo opportunity through the Portal — but will it be the last? We hope not.

  • It’s just over a Fortnight to WonderCon 2025, and Legend of Taylore are Ready For It. The Taylor Swift inspired D&D podcast, based on the lore of Swift and her music, are Guilty as Sin when it comes to panel giveaways. Save a Blank Space on your schedule on Saturday, March 29 at 4pm, and head to Room 300A for friendship bracelets, free dice, and more giveaways. For those who get it, this whole panel just Hits Different.

  • Still need a badge to WonderCon? Now through Friday, March 21, be sure to tune into KROQ for your chance to win two three-day badges, with up to five winners. Entrants must be 18 years of old or older, and legal Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Ventura, and San Bernardino County residents. You can find additional information and rules on their website.

  • Artist Sean Gordon Murphy (Batman: White Knight, Zorro: Man of the Dead, Tokyo Ghost) will be signing at Table #D-4 all three days of the convention, so bring your comics and books by and say hello.

  • Artist Sean Forney has been very busy ahead of WonderCon, with plenty of new sketch covers which will be available at #E-23 in Artist Alley, including this Spawn, Quicksilver, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Raphael, Storm, and Spider-Man.

  • You know what they say — it never rains in Southern California. But for those days when you’re missing rainy days (in a good way), this Pixel Hour WonderCon exclusive keychain is sure to make you smile. Pick it up at #E-44 in Artist Alley.

  • It’s a good idea to swing by the comics publisher Bad Idea’s panel on Saturday, March 29 at 11:30am in Room 213B, because attendees will get one last chance at their Planet Death lithograph, featuring the artwork of Joe Quesada, Leinil Francis Yu, Chris Bachalo, and Tomás Giorello.

  • Elly Sky Art is bringing some purr-fectly adorable new loaf cat stickers to WonderCon next weekend, along with a few other paw-some surprises. Stop by to pounce on these meow-velous goodies before they’re gone at #C-41.

  • Animation designer Derek Hunter (Bat-Family, DuckTales, Adventure Time) is heading to WonderCon with a stash of sketch cards, ready to take commissions and dole out some adventure-ous sketch cards. Stop by the Comic Sketch Art fortress in Artist Alley (also known as #E-08) to snag one featuring your favorite characters from his past projects, or request your own lumpin’ awesome custom piece.

  • The Jinja Ninja is getting the last laugh at WonderCon with two new original pieces featuring The Batman Who Laughs and The Joker. Head over to ##2210 to pick it up and tickle your funny bone.

  • Story and development artist Jerry Gaylord showed off a new print headed to WonderCon, featuring the Man of Steel himself. Soar into Booth #C-11 to pick this one up.

  • Artist Daniele Afferni showed off some Artist Proofs he did for Upper Deck, which he’ll be bringing to WonderCon #C-20. You can also DM him to reserve them your favorite ahead of time.

  • In addition, Daniele Afferni will also have an 11.8″x15.7″ oil on canvas “Hulk Meet Logan” piece. Smash your way (not literally, please!) over to #C-20 to check it out in person.

  • Megan Porch is bringing a roll-worthy selection of D&D stickers to WonderCon, perfect for adventurers who want to level up their gear. Whether you’re a natural 20 collector or just trying to avoid another critical fail, these designs are a must-have for any campaign, and are available at #C-63.

  • There’s been a lot of chatter lately about some certain Looney Tunes — and while you may not be able to find them on streaming apps at the moment, you can find a Daffy Duck maquette at Robert Griggs Art’s Booth #C-24. You may even find a Porky or two. That’s all (for today) folks!
