Mattel San Diego Comic-Con 2025 Exclusives [UPDATE June 25]

Mattel is always one of the hottest destinations on the show floor at San Diego Comic-Con, and for good reason. Their line-up of fan-favorite franchises and collectibles capture the imagination of pop culture enthusiasts with a presence every that features immersive booth displays and exclusives celebrating nostalgia, innovation, and collector passion.

This year they’ll be back with two booths — #3029, which will feature displays and more — and #2945, which will be home to their products for sale on site. Note that while most items will be available for sale on MattelCreations.com beginning Thursday, July 24 at 9am PT, the Monster High Elvira doll will be sold exclusively onsite.

For Mattel Creation’s final round of San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, they’re celebrating four unforgettable icons from across pop culture. From mutant mashups to prehistoric powerhouses, these exclusives are designed to embody the charisma, chaos, and sheer presence of fan-favorite characters — whether they’re tearing up the ring, escaping a paddock, or crashing a fourth wall.

Ultimate Edition “The Champ Is Here” John Cena — $50

The champ has arrived — and he’s ready to claim shelf space. This SDCC-exclusive Ultimate Edition action figure pays tribute to John Cena’s legendary 17-time World Heavyweight Championship reigns with era-specific accessories and premium articulation. It features three head sculpts, a hat, three sets of hands, four championship belts, and a “Chain Gang” medallion.

Little People Collector™ Deadpool — $27

Old Mac Deadpool had a… taco stand! Deadpool has brought farm-fresh chaos to San Diego Comic-Con with this exclusive, which reimagines the Merc with a Mouth as a pint-sized barnyard renegade, complete with a countryside detour packed in a rainbow-shaped display box. Equal parts absurd and adorable, it’s the Little People set you didn’t know you needed… and now definitely do.

Masters of the Universe® Turtles of Grayskull™ Skele-Shredder — $45

Eternia meets the NYC sewer system in the ultimate villainous mash-up. The Skele-Shredder Deluxe Figure blends the power of Skeletor with the menace of Shredder for a crossover that’s truly formidable. Loaded with interchangeable heads, signature weapons, and a custom throne, this SDCC exclusive is a must-have for any MOTU or TMNT fan looking to rule their collection.

Jurassic World Hammond Collection T. Rex Convention Crasher™ Set — $85

Make way for the king of Comic-Con. The “Buck” T. Rex charges out of The Lost World and into the San Diego Convention Center in this SDCC-exclusive Hammond Collection set. The “Buck” T. Rex is making its debut here, and we’re in love with the SDCC-specific details, from the Convention Center-inspired packaging, to the “When Fans Ruled the Earth” sign, to the inflatable dino cosplayer (with a swappable face) that comes with a convention swag bag and a miniature version of this toy itself. Here at the UBlog, we’re big fans of exclusives that actually relate to the con, and this one feels like a prehistoric powerhouse that will dominate our must-buy list.

For their second set of San Diego Comic-Con announcements, Mattel Creations is turning back time with a pair of Hot Wheels exclusives that pay homage to two of Universal Pictures’ most iconic blockbusters: Back to the Future and Jaws. These collectible vehicles aren’t just nostalgic — they’re cinematic tributes, capturing the thrill of time travel and the terror of the open sea in stunning 1:64 scale.

“These movies have left an indelible mark on pop culture. We worked closely with our creative teams to make sure every detail celebrates the spirit of these iconic moments,” said Nick Karamanos, senior vice president of Mattel Creations & Entertainment Partnerships at Mattel. “It is magical to watch our fans connect with the stories they grew up with, and we’re proud to bring that magic to life through our collectibles.”

Hot Wheels® Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Set — $32

Hot Wheels is celebrating 40 years of Back to the Future with a time-traveling San Diego Comic-Con exclusive that captures the magic of the DeLorean’s iconic debut. This limited-edition collector’s set features finely detailed die-cast vehicles (the DeLorean itself and the Dr. E. Brown’s Enterprises truck used to transport it) and a cinematic diorama that transports fans straight to Twin Pines Mall. From the stainless-steel time machine to the instantly recognizable backdrop, every element is crafted to honor the 1985 film that launched a sci-fi legacy. It’s all ppackaged in a display-worthy box.

 

Hot Wheels® Jaws 50th Anniversary — $32

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the collector aisle… Hot Wheels is making a splash with this SDCC exclusive celebrating 50 years of Jaws. This jaw-dropping collectible recreates the classic “You’re gonna need a bigger boat” scene with two unique die-cast models: a vintage-style shark and the ill-fated Orca boat. The packaging is a wave of nostalgia, featuring ’70s design cues and watery textures that bring the terror of Amity Island to life.

This year, Mattel Creations is celebrating girl power with a trio of collectibles that shine a spotlight on fierce, fashion-forward female icons across three wildly different — but equally beloved — franchises. From Monster High to Hot Wheels, these exclusives embody bold design and character-driven charisma.

Monster High® Sweet Screams™ Twyla® Doll — $80

Hot Wheels® Mario Kart Pauline — $22

Mattel levels up at San Diego Comic-Con with the exclusive Hot Wheels Mario Kart debut of Pauline. First introduced as the damsel in distress in Donkey Kong (1981) and reimagined as the powerhouse mayor of New Donk City in Super Mario Odyssey, Pauline trades the podium for the track here as she speeds through in a sleek, die-cast Badwagon, fully tricked out in bold pink with chrome detailing and candy-colored wheels.
