Legendary cartoonist Stan Sakai — best known as the creator of Usagi Yojimbo, the long-eared samurai who has captured hearts for over four decades — is once again returning to San Diego Comic-Con. You’ll find Sakai at Booth #4807 with a full lineup that includes limited-edition exclusives, original artwork, and a chance to commission personalized pieces.

If you’ve ever wanted a commission from Sakai, now is your chance. Now through June 30, you can submit your request for a San Diego Comic-Con commission. That doesn’t mean you’ll be chosen — Sakai will be replying to requests by email no later than July 3rd.
To submit, email [email protected] with the subject line “SDCC | (Type) Commission Request” (example: SDCC | Watercolor Commission Request). Be sure to include the number of characters, and any specific pose, emotion, or setting you’re envisioning.
