Publisher Hermes Press, specializing in archival reprints and comic books, will be back at San Diego Comic-Con this year, at Booth #1821 with several exclusives, and celebrating the premier of a brand new Dark Shadows graphic novel, plus an art book featuring the career of George Wilson. 2025 marks Hermes Press’ 25th anniversary. They will be marking the occasion by bringing many out-of-print editions with them.

In honor of the new release, Hermes will be offering a version of Curse of Dark Shadows Graphic Novel with a limited edition signed and numbered print. Hermes Press will have only 100 of these prints by artist Jok, who will also be available at the booth to provide remarques and discuss this ambitious project. Writer writer Craig Hurd-McKenney will also be at the booth.
In addition to the graphic novel, you can play along with the characters in Hermes Press’ Dark Shadows Paper Dolls Book. As an exclusive to San Diego, the first 75 copies will include a free print.
Wicked Wanda is back! Immortalized in a new t-shirt in advance of Hermes Press’ reprint of the classic book, the Oh, Wicked Wanda! Deluxe Shirt is a Hermes Press San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. Limited to 25 pieces and prices at $24.99, you can snag it at booth #1821
Prolific painter George Wilson was a master at fantastical brushwork, painting memorable comics book covers all throughout the silver age. Hermes Press honors his work with a comprehensive hardcover featuring over 300 examples of his work, including The Twilight Zone, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Doctor Solar and much more. San Diego Comic-Con attendees who purchase a copy of The Art of George Wilson will receive one of 5 different prints, suitable for framing.
Dethany Dendrobia, the “star” of the smash newspaper strip On the Fastrack, is having a whole new series of adventures in the new graphic novel The Phantom of the Swim Team. We’ll give you one guess who the “phantom” is! This book is a prequel to the comic strip and will be premiering at San Diego Comic-Con with only 50 copies, each one signed.
