Since 2008, Icon Heroes has been producing high-quality, officially licensed collectibles spanning some of pop culture’s biggest franchises. More recently, the company launched their own brand Jiu Jitsu Combat Creatures, the world’s first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-inspired action figure line, sculpted by the legendary Four Horsemen Studios.
This year at San Diego Comic-Con, they’re melding nostalgic brands and new, exciting lines, as they transform Booth #4344 into KB Toys. They’ll also be sharing the space with Handmade by Robots, known for creating premium vinyl collectibles that resemble hand-knit toys.
[UPDATE July 1]
Handmade by Robots is checking into the KB Toys presented by Icon Heroes booth, with a new lineup of exclusives. Leading the lineup are four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blacklight variants, which give Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael a glow-up. They’ve been created in Handmade by Robots’ signature style, of transforming vinyl collectibles into pieces that resemble hand-knit creations. They will be available for $20 each.
For collectors looking for something even rarer, limited Alliance Authentic Encapsulated editions of all four TMNT Blacklight figures will also be available in extremely limited quantities.
Rounding out the exclusives is Marvel’s War Machine, joining the Handmade by Robots roster in the company’s faux-knit style.

[UPDATE June 29]
For their first exclusive, Icon Heroes is introducing the newest character in the universe of their Jiu Jitsu Combat Creatures: The Ringmassster. This mysterious mastermind behind the arena measures 7″ tall and features full articulation, a premium soft goods sleeveless fabric gi, two interchangeable heads, eight interchangeable hands, a ceremonial spear, and two mysterious scrolls.
