Joey Spiotto San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Exclusives

There’s something about Joey Spiotto’s corner of Artist Alley that always takes us back to our childhoods. His “Storytime” series takes the movies, television shows, and games we grew up loving and reimagines them as Little Golden Book-style prints, and the rest of his artwork always finds a way to invigorate pop culture with added joy and whimsy.

For San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Spiotto is back (yay!), and setting up shop at Artist Alley #BB-14 with new artwork and exclusives.

Up first, Spiotto has two brand new bedtime stories for us — er, “Storytime Series”. Fans can level up their con with The Little Dungeon Crawler, based on Dungeon Crawler Carl, and exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con in extremely limited quantities. Joey’s prints are $20 each or mix and match then and get 3 for $50.

Are you ready to venture into the world of Backrooms? He’s also created “Everything Must Go“, another San Diego Comic-Con exclusive print available in extremely limited quantities, also $20 each or pick 3 prints for $50.

Next up, his original characters Grumpy Unicorn and Max, a Little Axolotl are getting San Diego Comic-Con exclusive pins. These pins will be $10 or you can get one free pin with the purchase of any 3 or more books.

And which books might those be? Spiotto will have plenty to fill your bookshelf, including his Scholastic graphic novels Max, a Little Axolotl, Max, a Little Axolotl: Breaking Out!, Grumpy Unicorn Hits the Road, and Grumpy Unicorn Saves the World. All the graphic novels are $15 each.

Fans can also discover what happens when a Xenomorph or Klingon gets a rare day off in the fully illustrated Alien Next Door and Klingon Next Door, available for $20 each.

There will also be plenty of “Storytime” prints, postcards, stickers, and more, including new 5″x7″ postcard tributes to some of Spiotto’s favorite Creators like Paul Reubens, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and LeVar Burton. You can snag all the postcards for $5 each, or select 5 for $20.

And when he’s not at Artist Alley #BB-14, Spiotto will be talking shop in Room 9 on Friday, July 25. Catch him at “Toddlers to Teens: Writing for Kids” from 11am-12pm, followed by “Graphix Unboxed: The Next Big Graphic Novel for Kids” from 4pm-5pm alongside Raina Telgemeier, Gale Galligan, and Sara Amini, with Bone creator Jeff Smith moderating.
