Kotobukiya, the acclaimed Japanese manufacturer that creates fan-favorite, detailed figures, model kits, statues, and collectibles, is returning to San Diego Comic-Con once again for 2026.
Even if you’re not planning on adding a new figure to your collection, you’ll still want to swing by the booth, #3535.

The very popular free BISHOUJO trading card giveaway is now scheduled. There are four different card designs and you will receive one at random, until supplies run out.

Kotobukiya has announced that in addition to several pre-sales, they will have the event-exclusive previously seen at EVO Japan and EVO 2026, the Vampire Girl Lei Lei Limited Edition. They will have limited stock of Lei Lei and she will be $179.99.
Kotobukiya will also have a panel discussion on Thursday, July 23 at 2:30pm in Room 10. “Kotobukiya’s Veersatile Hand Model” will focus on the groundbreaking drawing tool designed for artists, animators, and hobbyists
Special guests include Sir Richard Taylor, founder of Weta Workshop and Academy Award winner, Takahiro Kagami, main animator for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Kotobukiya’s super sculptor, Hajime Shirohige, who created the original prototype for the Hand Model.
Booth #3535 will also be the site of two autograph signings with animator Takahiro Kagami and Kotobukiya sculptor Hajime Shirohige.
On Thursday, July 23 and Friday, July 24 from 4pm – 5:30pm customers who purchase one or more of the ARTIST SUPPORT SERIES “Hand Models” sold at the venue are eligible to participate in this special event. A “Signing Session Participation Ticket” will be given when purchasing an eligible product, with one ticket given for each eligible product purchased, while supplies last. Please see their website for more details. In principle, signatures will be written on the packaging of the product you purchased, please prepare according to the instructions of the staff on the day of the signing.
