RSVLTS has clarified how shopping for its San Diego Comic-Con exclusives will work this year after some confusion surrounding the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Portal, in which they appeared last night, hours before the Portal closed, due to “unforeseen confusion”.
In a new post on their site, the apparel company says it will continue using its traditional wristband system, just as it has in previous years. Fans can head to the RSVLTS booth when the Exhibit Hall opens each day to pick up a wristband for one of the day’s shopping windows. According to RSVLTS, the company is bringing significantly more inventory and additional products to SDCC this year while distributing the same number of wristbands as in years past, allowing more fans to shop during each time slot and improving the chances of picking up event exclusives.
RSVLTS also confirmed it will honor fans who are selected through Comic-Con’s online Exclusives Portal. Those portal winners will shop during the same timed windows as wristband holders. As with all entries in the Online Exclusives Portal, not all who submitted for a timeslot will be chosen as a winner, as the system is randomized.
