UDON Entertainment always brings plenty to discover at San Diego Comic-Con, whether you’re hunting for art books, comics, exclusives, or a chance to meet some of the biggest names behind your favorite games and comics. This year is no exception, with the publisher kicking off its Comic-Con reveals by welcoming legendary illustrator Shinkiro to Booth #100.
This year, they’re bringing a true legend to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Illustrator Shinkiro, whose distinctive artwork has helped define franchises like Street Fighter, The King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Resident Evil, and more, will be appearing at the booth throughout the weekend.
Fans will also find exclusive T-shirts, character pins, Lucky Draw pins, metal cards, and other collectibles, with additional reveals still to come.

Few artists have left a mark on fighting games quite like Shinkiro. His unmistakable painted style helped define the look of franchises like Street Fighter and Resident Evil, and dozens more over a career spanning more than 35 years. This year, fans will have the rare chance to meet the legendary illustrator at San Diego Comic-Con as he celebrates two massive new retrospective art books from UDON Entertainment.
Shinkiro will be signing at UDON’s Booth #100 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Fans who make qualifying purchases at the booth can receive a ticket to one of the limited signing sessions.
Attendees will also receive one of two exclusive shikishi boards featuring brand-new artwork by Shinkiro, which he’ll sign, and may also bring one additional officially licensed item for an autograph.
Making their advance debut at Comic-Con are deluxe hardcover editions of SNK Masterworks: Shinkiro and Capcom Masterworks: Shinkiro. Both oversized collections feature metallic foil and spot-gloss covers exclusive to the Deluxe Editions and collect decades of artwork from across Shinkiro’s career.
Capcom Masterworks: Shinkiro spans more than 25 years of artwork from franchises including Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Final Fight, Dead Rising, Ghosts ‘N Goblins, Bionic Commando, and more. Meanwhile, SNK Masterworks: Shinkiro collects his iconic illustrations for Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug X, and many other SNK classics.
