Seriously, it seems like sites like ours have no shortage of SDCC-related updates during even what has generally been regarded as “the quiet months”. Covering Comic-Con has turned into a year-round job, as news regarding next year’s convention is already starting to drop.
Fresh from this weekend’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles comes info on the first confirmed SDCC 2014 exclusive, the DC Signature Collection Doomsday figure. Unveiled at the MattyCollector Comikaze panel, this Doomsday figure will be the first time ever in his containment suit, and will be offered in a “a very unique package that’s all about celebrating the Death of Superman arc.” It was further mentioned that the folks involved in designing the packaging “really went all the way on this one.” We can’t wait.
You can see the unveiling of the SDCC 2014 exclusive via the video below, captured by our very own Shawn Marshall, aka @The_Con_Fluence, during the MattyCollector panel at Stan Lee’s Comikaze.
