IDW Publishing San Diego Comic-Con 2024 Exclusives, Signings, & More

IDW Publishing is heading back to San Diego Comic-Con this year, and you can find them at their usual home base of Booth #2729. Creator Patrick Horvath has been on a hot streak of late, with the success of his Eisner nominated Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees. Fans of the series will soon be treated to an all-new prequel bonus chapter titled Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees: Präludium, an exclusive ashcan heading to San Diego Comic-Con that features ten pages of new story and two pages of bonus sketches.

As first reported exclusively by Comics Beat, here will be 1,000 copies available at Booth #2729, for $10 each.

“With San Diego Comic-Con coming so soon after the conclusion of the last issue and before the trade comes out in September, it felt like the perfect opportunity to do an ashcan that worked as a prelude. I’ve mentioned it multiple times in the past, but there’s so much fun stuff to dip into with the world of BENEATH THE TREES WHERE NOBODY SEES and Samantha, and I’m grateful that IDW has been so supportive in making it happen. Diving into Samantha’s past has been a blast to work on, and I’m extremely excited for readers to get their hands on it at the con!” Horvath said.
