Blast Off at LEGO’s Space Station Bricks Experience at San Diego Comic-Con 2024

Get ready to explore the final frontier with LEGO. With Preview Night now open, we can reveal that the company has launched their Space Station 8RICK5, an interstellar booth experience featuring first-look product reveals, the chance to build your own LEGO rocket and score some swag that’s out-of-this-world, and more. Fans will find cosmic adventures all week long, including photo ops, show-only experiences, and more at Booth #2829.

Attendees will find an immersive space station experience to explore, including space windows and content screens so you can really feel like you’ve traveled to a galaxy far, far away (or maybe not that far away). Blast off with a build-your-own LEGO rocket experience, in which attendees can design their own custom rocket using LEGO bricks. Once complete, guests will set their craft into orbit by placing it in front of a special LED screen backdrop — and receive an exclusive embroidered mission patch to commemorate their build.

There will be over fifty LEGO sets on display, including some first-time reveals from popular themes such as LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Minecraft®, and LEGO Super Mario™. This display isn’t just a showcase; it’s an opportunity to dive into the future of LEGO with advanced sets from the LEGO Technic™ and LEGO Icons collections.

Fans of Star Wars will find plenty to be excited about, including three sets on display for LEGO Star Wars: Build the Galaxy. The sets include LEGO Star Wars Jedi Bob’s Starfighter (75388), a mysterious Jedi Knight who debuted in a LEGO Star Wars set in 2002. Attendees will also get the first up-close look at the Dar Jar Jar minifig in LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon (75389), as well as enjoy a mash-up of two iconic Star Wars starfighters in the LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-Up (75393).

LEGO and SEGA will also debut a new Lego Sonic the Hedgehog Shadow the Hedgehog set (770000), which features hidden Easter eggs.

Gather your party and venture to LEGO’s booth to find a new line-up of LEGO Minifigs for the LEGO® Ideas DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Red Dragon’s Tale set. There are 12 new Minifigs, including Tiefling Sorcerer, Elf Bard, Halfling Druid, Dwarf Barbarian, Dragonborn Paladin, Aarakocra Ranger, Gith Warlock, Mind Flayer, The Lady of Pain, Strahd von Zarovich, Tasha the Witch Queen and Szass Tam. They come accompanied by at least one authentic accessory and a collector’s information leaflet.

The new Lego Minecraft Baby Pig’s Birthday Celebration (21281) will be unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con. The set invites builders to create their own Minecraft mobs with movable parts, including a Creeper™, a baby zombie, baby fox, baby cat, baby llama and baby pig. When they all come together for a birthday party, it’s time for you to build a Minecraft birthday cake.

The LEGO Travel Moments (41838) set on display at the con allows fans to recreate their favorite travel experiences. This set includes the World Wonderliner jet and a customizable world map. Builders can use photo holders to display their travel memories and embellish the map with micro-build vehicles and decorative tiles, making it a dynamic display that can be updated with new memories or future travel plans.
