Sideshow Collectibles Returns to San Diego Comic-Con 2026

Sideshow Collectibles is heading back to San Diego Comic-Con.

For those of us who remember (I certainly do), the toy company had some choice words for SDCC back in 2023 — namely, that they were skipping San Diego Comic-Con at the time, because while “physical conventions have been wonderful, they’ve not been able to scale and appropriately serve the exponential growth in fandom.” Instead, Sideshow had grand plans of presenting their own virtual experiences moving forward, and dreams “of transcending the physical limitations of the convention”.

But now, it seems they are changing their tune, as they’re heading back to San Diego Comic-Con in 2026, with brands including Star WarsHarry Potter, Marvel, Hot Toys, DC, Critical Role, Universal Monsters, and presumably more.

At the booth, they will be showcasing Hot Toys deluxe action figures, premium statues, offering the chance to meet the Sideshow Collectibles team, preview new reveals, “enjoy” event exclusives, special offers, contests, and more.

Maybe that “new booth, new look” will include them actually selling merchandise.
