In an effort to feature more attendees, rather than featuring just one per week — we’re featuring lots of you! We’ll have a new question each week, so be sure to keep an eye on our social media channels for each week’s question. Without further ado let’s get into this weeks question:

I have two favorite things from SDCC 2025. My first one was attending a concert played by Cold Slither!!! Of course we know that it was just Zartan and the Dreadnaughts using subliminal messages to get us to do their bidding for Cobra, but it was still awesome.
The second one was meeting the one and only Rob Paulsen with my buddy Eric. If you have watched ANY cartoons in life, he is the voice of Raphael (80’s TMNT), Donatello (2000’s TMNT), Pete (Goof Troop), Yakko and Pinky (Animaniacs), and a ton more!

Last year was such a fun year and I can’t choose just one! One of my favorites was the Penn and Teller panel, and the patch they gave us at the end of the show!

I also loved the Thunderbolts ice creams! They gave such big portions for a free ice cream! And I got to eat it with Damian!!

The Coyote vs. Acme panel was just so fun!

I could keep going! I can’t wait for SDCC 2026!

My favorite thing from SDCC 2025 was the Hulu King of the Hill activation site.

This was my first SDCC and it was beyond what I was told. My favorite things were meeting Rhea Seehorn and Vince Gilligan at Petco Park, a signed comic from Robert Kirkman, the anime FanFest, and the rave at Adult Swim.
Todd Cassel
Phoenix, Arizona
The Gaslamp street Star Trek: Strange New Worlds musical performance was so fun. I stayed for the second one, at which point some of the show’s actors came out to watch and applaud as well.

My favorite part about SDCC 2025 is experiencing the different offsites with my friends.

My favorite thing from SDCC 2025 was the Peacemaker offsite. You got a free mask, photo ops, drinks (I went with the tea), and at the end a free 80’s themed concert. The band was amazing and I got the chance to take a pic with them.

This Sonic 3 artwork was my favorite of SDCC. Looking forward to seeing what he has this year.

2025 was a super fun SDCC year! Great, great panels with comic book artists and creators. My favorite things were: Resident Alien panel in Ballroom 20. Bad thing was, the show did not get renewed. But it made the panel even more special.
Todd Klein signed my N52 Batwoman books.
Spider-Man voice actor panel.
Although there were MANY memorable moments from SDCC 2025, my personal favorite was probably a signing and panel from a well-known (if you’re a Monster Kid like me) horror host from Chicago — Rich Koz aka Svengoolie and his Sven squad!
This was an early Saturday evening signing up in Sails followed by an after-hours panel. Lots of fun and one of my key highlights from 2025.
Alejandro Hurtado
Fontana, CA
My favorite thing from SDCC 2025 was the MadTV panel. It was a great panel looking back at the show with some of the season one cast. After the panel I had the honor of meeting Debra Wilson and had a quick chat about when she was on the cover of Tattoo magazine back in the day. She also gave me her name sign, signed it, and drew the logo on it. I still have it on my desk when I work. Definitely one of my SDCC highlights overall.

The Spider Man / Wizards of the Coast, Magic: The Gathering activation was a pleasant surprise. We got in at our arrival time and tickets were pretty easy to get. Walked away with a few packs of free cards, and some good memories!
Jason Goldman-Hall
@banthasurprise
Getting to present Brian K. Vaughan with the exploding head of a giraffe, wooble-style, by the Image booth! Always been my favorite writer, and he’s always so cool in person.

Meeting Sterling K. Brown at the Paradise signing.
Joe Antonio

Meeting the amazing and iconic George Takei!

As a fan of the comics and character, I had been waiting for a new Red Sonja film for nearly 20 years. The Red Sonja film panel on Thursday evening in Ballroom 20 was a treat beyond words. The cast and producers so obviously loved this character and wanted to do right by her. Matilda Lutz, Red Sonja, was sincere and fierce and gracious.
During the Q&A, I worked up the nerve to ask their thoughts on handling the character’s signature chainmail bikini armor as interpretations of feminism have changed over time. They spoke for almost 10 minutes with sincere thought and nuance.
At the end of the panel, the filmmakers gave away Red Sonja’s screen used sword. They decided to give it to Matilda’s favorite question and she picked me! Cue the shaking! It has all the dings and dried blood on it. I watched on screen and it now has a place of honor in my living room. Some of the cast’s kids came out after and took pictures holding the sword too. It would have been a great night regardless, but the sword is the best cherry on top a gal could have ask for.

My favorite thing from last year’s SDCC was my win from the exclusive portal, which was the American Dad signing. I was so excited to meet the cast, especially Scott Grimes. They were all super nice and fun to talk to.

Firstly, can we all agree 2025 was a great year with so many highlights and things to do, with some amazing panels and offsites?
Even with no Marvel or DC, Hall H was stacked! I loved so many panels, including Project Hail Mary, Tron, Predator Badlands, FNAF, Peacemaker! And of course the ever-present Kevin Smith! But a major highlight, and my girlfriend’s immediate number one pick was the “Directors on Directing” panel. She’s a massive fan of all the directors but getting to see Rob Reiner speak so passionately, particularly in light of the tragedy that followed, is a cherished memory.
An unexpected highlight for me was Ballroom 20’s Primative War, which was super exciting for my girlfriend’s Jurrasic Park-obsessed son, and I got the joy of watching him be interviewed by the marketing team in the panel telling them how exciting the trailer looked while lamenting that as a kid, he wouldn’t be able to watch the R- rated movie.
There were also so many great offsites. I loved the UBlog party and Paramount Lodge, getting free Thunderbolts ice-cream with @drhomeros, but in particular, the Peacemaker offsite (even if I missed out on the eagle) and Brawl Stars, which came with the added excitement of our group containing David Dastmalchian and his family also enjoying the carnival fun!
However, my number one is getting Melanie Scrofano’s name card at the Revival panel. She was told not to give it out, but she indicated for me to go off to the side and passed it to me behind the curtain while leaving the stage.
2026 has a high bar to beat but I can’t wait to see what it brings!

SDCC 2025 was my first ever; my first time in San Diego and Southern California too. I’d been on the fence about going for years, finally tried for badges, and somehow got all four days on my first shot.
Flew out from Jersey, mostly solo’d the Con and it was so overwhelming. But every single day felt like a new experience. Spent the week exclusive hunting, exploring the city, and randomly meeting and talking with a lot of cool people along the way. Following this blog made navigating much easier. I’ve been to New York Comic Con a bunch of times, but SDCC is just on another level. The size, the atmosphere, the energy around the Gaslamp district: nothing really compares to it.
Already counting down until July for Year 2.

Absolutely the LEGO con-within-a-con (and within a con). Fascinating.

We were able to attend the Adult Animation panel with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge, and Digman! creator Andy Samberg. It was fantastic and one of our first Hall H experiences.
The “Jason Universe: Celebrating 45 years of Friday the 13th” panel was fantastic. We loved getting to see the new direction of the franchise, and get a sneak peek of the new mask.
We also loved the Masquerade held on Saturday night and Sunday at the convention ran into some of the contestants. They were amazing going into detail on their costume builds with us.

One of my favorite parts about SDCC 2025 was watching my daughter in her reading era. In previous years, she noticed squishmallows and other toys. Last year, she realized how many books were at Comic-Con. She woke up early to wait in line for book signings. This Comic-Con, she will add to her collection of books.

SDCC 2025 was simply amazing. This really felt more like how SDCC was prior to the pandemic. I loved seeing my con family again. I loved the hours in lines strategizing on what to do with them, and actually finding the time to do some escape rooms. I haven’t laughed so much at SDCC before. Watching us work together to save the world was amazing. We did a few more rooms because it was that much fun. Also everyday seeing the cosplay and building decor was a joy. Can’t wait to see what SDCC 2026 brings.
