Are you ready to go there and back again? Wētā Workshop is heading back to Booth #3613 at San Diego Comic-Con, and they’re bringing a little bit of Middle-earth — and Pandora — with them.
The New Zealand collectibles powerhouse will once again be showcasing new products and upcoming releases, while also teaming up with fellow New Zealand company Agoro, which specializes in precious-metal collectibles.
Among the highlights are Agoro’s new Lord of the Rings collectible blind boxes, featuring fully engraved miniature gold and silver versions of some of the Fellowship’s most iconic heroes. Fans can collect Aragorn, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, and Boromir. Most boxes contain silver-plated versions, but lucky collectors have a 9% chance of finding a pure silver figure, and an even rarer 1% chance of discovering a pure gold collectible inside. One blind box to rule them all!

The booth won’t be focused solely on Middle-earth, though. Legendary costume designer Deborah Lynn Scott, best known for her Oscar-winning work on Titanic and her contributions to the Avatar films, will be on hand with costumes from the film Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Wētā is also teasing the appearance of a special guest or two from Middle-earth, so stay tuned for more on that.
SDCC is on the horizon; we’re packing for one heck of a trip!
At Booth #3613 we’ll be joined by fellow Kiwi collectible brand Agoro, alongside a few special guests.
