Netflix Returns: Marvel’s ‘Iron Fest’ Set for Comic-Con 2018, Possible Others

As we’ve been saying since Kevin Feige announced that Marvel Studios won’t be holding their usual Hall H panel for the film side of Marvel – that certainly doesn’t mean there won’t be any Marvel presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

We had already been hearing that Netflix’s Marvel’s Iron Fist would be heading to San Diego Comic-Con this year, but Deadline now reports that the series is showing up and that star Finn Jones will be coming along, along with other cast members and producers expected to join him to discuss the upcoming second season.

But what of other Netflix Marvel TV series? Deadline notes that there’s also talk about putting together a panel for Punisher. Considering star Jon Bernthal was just announced as returning to The Walking Dead (which is heading back to Comic-Con), it would make sense to have him pull double duty for both series. The second season of The Punisher is filmed, even though it has no premiere date.

Deadline also notes that there’s a possibility for Daredevil to be on hand to promote their upcoming third season as well, as it’s also filmed.

The best part of this announcement may be the confirmation that Netflix is indeed heading back to San Diego Comic-Con this year – which opens the possibility for a lot of other Netflix series (including Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and  The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance) to also head to Comic-Con next month.

Are you excited Netflix is coming back to SDCC? Let us know in the comments.
