The popular licensed print company Mondo has begun announcing its plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Its sought-after limited posters and amazing vinyl records generally create hysteria among fans and collectors when the “drops” (when the posters are available for purchase) are announced.
You can find Mondo at Booth #435 on the show floor. Mondo’s items will again only be available on specific dates (and sometimes at times like “when doors open” or “late afternoon”. You can find the full schedule of which exclusives will be available on which dates on their site.
For now, let’s take a look at what Mondo is bringing to SDCC:
[UPDATE July 17]
If you were excited about Matt Taylor’s first Marvel Mondo SDCC poster, then just want until you see the next one. Matt Taylor has created a 24″x36″ screen print for Avengers: Infinity War, which is limited to just 325 pieces. It will retail for $80 at Mondo’s booth when doors open on Sunday, July 22. There will also be a regular edition on Mondo’s website starting at 9:30AM PT on Sunday. From Marvel.com, here’s a look:
Finally, if you were waiting on pricing for the variant of Matt Taylor’s 10th anniversary SDCC poster – it will be $65 and available at Mondo’s booth “late Thursday afternoon”.

/Film gave us a look at two more Mondo San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, including a Jurassic Park poster by Phantom City Creative. The 24″x36″ print will be a limited edition of 175 for $75 each at Mondo’s booth, though there will also be a regular version (limited to 325) online for $50.
Fans will also be able to score a Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 24″x36″ screen print by Mike Saputo. It’s limited to 325, and will retail for $50 at Mondo’s booth.

Mondo isn’t finished yet! Collider revealed a few more San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, starting with a 24″x36″ poster for Labyrinth by Jeremy Bastian. Grab it at Mondo’s booth for $50.
And finally, there will be two versions of a 24″x36″ screen print of The Dark Crystal by Ken Taylor. The SDCC variant will retail for $75, while the version going up online around the same time will be $50.
Then Birth. Movies. Death. showed off a new 24″x36″ poster for Drive by Boris Pelcer heading to San Diego Comic-Con. The version at Mondo’s booth will retail for $55, while two other versions by Pelcer will be on Mondo’s site sometime this week.

IGN has the details on Mondo’s next San Diego Comic-Con exclusives – posters, vinyl soundtracks, and a t-shirt for the Studio Ponoc film, Mary and the Witch’s Flower. San Diego Comic-Con attendees will be able to score an 18″x24″ screen print poster of the film, with art created by Tom Whalen. The SDCC version is below, , but there will also be online regular versions available on Wednesday, July 18.
Tom Whalen also designed the artwork for the variant vinyl soundtrack, which includes glow-in-the-dark vinyl discs. It’s limited to only 500 pieces, though there will also be an online regular version.
And finally, there’s also a SDCC exclusive t-shirt designed by Tom Whalen.

Who ya gonna call? MONDO! Germain Lussier of io9 got the scoop that Mondo will be doing their first ever Ghostbusters print, and it’s going to be a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive poster by Tom Whalen (though there will also be a regular version). The variant edition is 36″x24″, and it’s a glow in the dark variant edition of 200 that will go on sale at Mondo’s booth sometime on Saturday, July 21.
There will also be a regular version (limited to 375 pieces) that will go on sale on Mondo’s website at the same random time on Saturday, July 21. You can find more information on io9.
Starting Wednesday, they’ll also have Ghostbusters pins at their booth, also by Tom Whalen.

Fans of Laika films already had something to excited about at San Diego Comic-Con this year with LAIKA Live, the bigger and better offsite celebrating their films like Coraline and ParaNorman. But now, there’s even better news, courtesy of Den of Geek. Mondo is bringing San Diego Comic-Con exclusive posters for Coraline and Missing Link. The Coraline poster features artwork by Cesar Moreno, and will retail for $50.
There’s also a poster for Laika’s upcoming film Missing Link, though little (including artist or price) is known about it.
Finally, they’ll also have two Coraline pins, including “Other Coraline” from the parallel world and the second in the shape of “Other Mother.”

Mashable has the details on Mondo’s next San Diego Comic-Con exclusives: a colored vinyl pressing of the soundtrack to Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, and a poster of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The vinyl is a two-LP album, featuring artwork by Oliver Barrett. It’s pressed on red and blue split vinyl, and limited to only 100 pieces at Comic-Con. You can pick it up at SDCC for $35, or a different colorway will be available through Mondo’s webstore at a later date.
Additionally, Mondo is bringing a screen print poster for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, by Becky Cloonan. It will retail for $45 at Mondo’s booth.

ComicBook Resources revealed Mondo’s Marvel enamel pins for SDCC, which will include Thanos and Nebula (designed by Tom Whalen) as well as Shuri, Killmonger, and Okoye (designed by Matt Taylor). Each pin will be $10 at the Mondo booth.

SYFY Wire has the details on two new San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, starting with a retro poster for Beneath the Planet of the Apes. The 24×36 screen print by artist Eric Powell will retail for $50 at the Mondo booth.
They’ll also be bringing an awesome screen print for The Shape of Water by artist Daniel Danger. The poster measures 18″x36″, and will retail for $60 at the convention. There will also be a variant edition online during the convention for $80.

If you weren’t successful in winning Comic-Con International’s Mondo Matt Taylor poster lottery earlier this year, there’s good news ahead: Mondo will have a variant version at their booth on Thursday, July 19.

Mondo has kicked off their San Diego Comic-Con 2018 announcements, with Pitchfork revealing a vinyl LP for Big Trouble in Little China. For the first time in 30 years, you can grab the iconic film’s soundtrack on vinyl, in a 2xLP, 180-gram reissue. There will be two colorways, including a clear lightning bolt San Diego Comic-Con exclusive (limited to 500 pieces), and a red vinyl available through Mondo at a later date. The album is remastered by James Plotkin, and features artwork by Phantom City Creative.
We also have details on an Adventure Time 7″ Vinyl, which will feature tracks “Friends Don’t Fight” (both with vocals and instrumental) and “Manlorette Party.” The vinyl cover art work is custom created by artist JJ Harrison and they will be sold at the Mondo booth for $12 +tax. Supply is limited, so make sure to get them before they’re gone!
