Hyperactive Monkey / Jerome Lu San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Exclusives [UPDATE July 15]

Artist Jerome Lu, also known as “Hyperactive Monkey”, is always an exciting artist to watch during the con. The part-time toy designer but full-time toy player always has fun, playful uses of color, and of course his signature character. He’ll be offering several exciting SDCC exclusives at his Hyperactive Monkey booth, #2744.

DJ Lance Rock will also be doing signings at the booth at the following times:

  • Wednesday, July 20 – 6pm – 9pm
  • Thursday, July 21 – 1pm
  • Friday, July 22 – 1pm and 4pm

[UPDATE July 15]

Hyperactive Monkey’s final San Diego Comic-Con reveal is a limited edition hardback book of DJ Lance Rock’s ABC’s of AWESOMENESS. The book, which was written by DJ Lance Rock and Jerome Lu of Hyperactive Monkey, features a different page focusing on each letter of the alphabet. You can pick it up at Booth #2744 for $20.

There’s even more love for DJ Lance Rock at the Hyperactive Monkey booth with this clip-on plush, available for $10.

[UPDATE July 7]

Hyperactive Monkey isn’t done celebrating DJ Lance Rock, with new items dropping at the con and booth signings (see schedule above). First, there will be two patches, available for $6 each or two for $10.

They’ll also have bucket hats available for $20 each, in both toddler and adult sizes.

 

[UPDATE July 5]

Hyperactive Monkey is collaborating with DJ Lance Rock for San Diego Comic-Con this year, and part of that collaboration is this limited edition set of “100% Awesome” enamel pins designed by DJ Lance Rock himself. They’ll also have Rock on hand at Booth #2744 for meet-and-greets and to sign those pins you just bought. Signing times for DJ Lance Rock are:

  • Thursday, July 21: 1:00pm PT
  • Friday, July 22: 1:00pm PT and 4:00pm PT
  • Saturday, July 23: 1:00pm PT and 4:00pm PT

This release only includes 200 sets of these hard enamel pins and will cost $20 for each set.

HYPEBAO, a streetwear lifestyle brand all about bao buns, will be heading to San Diego Comic-Con for the first time this year, where they’ll be at the Hyperactive Monkey Booth #2744. You can grab this Union Colorway vinyl figure (LE 200) for just $55.

Hyperactive Monkey is delivering more items for San Diego Comic-Con, including these vivid Minifigure Sofubi Sets. The set of four features Hyperactive Monkey and friends, available in Purple Dream or Orange Cream colorways, for $40 per set. You can grab them first at SDCC.

Get zen with Hyperactive Monkey’s next exclusive, a Meditating Ninja Monkey Jade Edition. These figures are a limited edition of just 15, and will be available for $45 each at Booth #2744.

Hyperactive Monkey has more exclusive stickers swinging into San Diego Comic-Con, new Nom Nom Girls for Flamin’ Hot Cheese Based Crunch Girl and S’mores Girl. They’ll be available for $2 each or three for $5.

This monkey can go twice as high as any butterfly, just take a look. Summer reading is a swinging good time with these new Hyperactive Monkey Ninja Monkey Book Club patches. Like the other patches, it’s available for $6 each or two for $10.

Who doesn’t love a good sticker? Hyperactive Monkey will have new stickers for  Hyperactive Monkey, Hypebeasts, and Nom Nom Girls available at Booth #2744 for $2 each, or you can purchase three for $5.

Jerome’s next San Diego Comic-Con exclusive is anything but a work-in-progress. This adorable “Monkey Kung Fu Construction Co.” patch features Hyperactive Monkey on the job. You can pick up this patch, and other new ones, at SDCC for $6 each or two for $10, at Booth #2744.

[UPDATE June 17]

Jerome showed off a new “The Way of The Hyperactive Monkey” print, a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 6″x9″ print. It pays tribute to Kung Fu instructional books, and is limited to 120 pieces. You can pick it up at the convention for $10.
