Marvel Studios Will Be At San Diego Comic-Con 2022 [UPDATE]

It looks like Marvel Studios will be back at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

At the Thor: Love & Thunder press conferences today, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel will be at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

“We’ll be at Comic-Con next month, which we’re excited about,” Feige said during the press conference. “First time since we were on stage there three years ago talking about this movie and many others. And now, I think, almost, not everything but almost everything we discussed three years ago, that was released so we are excited to go and talk about the future.”

At the moment, details are still scarce for the Hall H panel — but as we mentioned last week, Marvel has plenty of options for things they could bring the convention, including upcoming films and TV series including Black Panther: Wakanda ForeverAnt-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3The MarvelsFantastic FourShe-Hulk: Attorney at LawThe Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday SpecialSecret InvasionIronheartArmor Wars, and anything else not yet currently announced.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn also gave a possible hint that he could be at the convention this year, presumably to show off The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.

[UPDATE June 30]

In an interview with Collider, Feige was asked if fans can expect “big news this time around”. Feige’s answer?

“Yes, you can. We’ll be at Comic-Con [in July], which we’re excited about,” Feige said. “It will be the first time since we were on stage there three years ago, talking about this movie and many others. Not everything, but almost everything we discussed then has now been released. So, we’re excited to go and talk about the future.”
