Artist Nick Kremenek is an artist we’ve been talking about for awhile — which is why it may sound strange to say he’ll be making his debut appearance as an exhibitor at San Diego Comic-Con this year, where he’s sure to delight attendees with his travel posters, SDCC exclusives, and unique offerings.
You can find him at Artists Alley #GG-11 at his Dreamforger Studios booth.
[UPDATE July 18]
Looking to ensure you get your exclusives from Nick Kremenek? He’s launched several orders for in-booth pick-up or shipping after the con. Here are the items available for pre-orders:
- Firefly 20th Anniversary Metal Collector Coin – $20
- “Weirder Tales” Upside-Down Sticker Set (Volume 1) – $8
- “Corporal Dwayne Hicks” Portrait Art Mini Print – $15
- Xenomorphs Portrait Art Mini-Print Bundle – $15
And stay tuned for one more announcement of something very exciting…
[UPDATE July 14]
Kremenek has even more to offer Firefly fans, as the series celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. To honor that, he is releasing a Firefly 20th Anniversary Metal Coin.
The front of the coin depicts the fan-favorite Firefly-class ship soaring through space, while the back showcases the WuXing Travel Agency. The 1.75″ coin features a mixture of both an antique gold finish over most of the coin, and an antique silver finish for Serenity herself.
You can get this shiny piece of “history” in its regular challenge coin form or the keychain coin variant — and each actually glows in the dark.
You can pre-order the coin now on Kremenek’s site for $20 for the coin or $25 for the keychain variant, or pick them up at Artists Alley #GG-11.
[UPDATE July 13]
Shiny! Kremenek has some big damn new products he’s bringing to San Diego Comic-Con, including premium versions of the first four of his Firefly travel postcards under the in-universe fictional travel agency called WuXing Travel.
These 4″x6″ postcards are printed on Ultra Premium Pearl paper stock with a nice linen texture feel, and all postcards feature planetary info on the back as well as travel guide notes for an added flair.
The set of four will be available at Artists Alley #GG-11 for $15, and comes complete with poly bag and holographic labels which will only be available in the set.
[UPDATE July 11]
Nick Kremenek has put the finishing touches on his portrait of Cpl. Dwayne Hicks, a San Diego Comic-Con debut. This 6″ x 6″ print will be available for $15, or pair it with a matching Ellen Ripley print for only $20.
[UPDATE July 6]
For Kremenek’s fourth and final Stranger Things inspired glowin-the-dark sticker, he gives some good advice on how (and where) on how to escape the forces of darkness. Grab it at Artists Alley #GG-11 for $7, and save when you purchase more than one sticker.
[UPDATE July 5]
The next glow-in-the-dark sticker in Kremenek’s line of Stranger Things inspired pieces is a “D20 of Hellfire” sticker, which showcases the group’s demon mascot and some important numbers from the series.
Like the other stickers, it will be available for $8 — but there will be a discount if you purchase more than one sticker.
[UPDATE July 4]
Kremenk’s next Stranger Things inspired sticker making its debut at SDCC is all about our rock and roller. This “Stranger Things Guitar Hero” sticker, like the other, glows in the dark and will be available for $8, but if you purchase multiple stickers, you’ll receive a discount.
[UPDATE July 3]
To kick things off, Kremenek is taking us somewhere strange. Welcome to Hawkins, Indiana, “where everything is a bit upside down” with these new glow-in-the-dark stickers, making their debut at the con. Attendees
This is just the first sticker in a set, and each will be available for $8. However, purchasing additional stickers will save you money: If you buy two, you’ll save $2. Buy three, you’ll save $4.
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
