‘The Magicians’ to Cast a Spell on San Diego Comic-Con 2018

San Diego Comic-Con attendees will once again be under Syfy’s The Magicians spell at the convention this summer.

Yesterday on Twitter, The Magicians‘ executive producer Sera Gamble responded to a fan asking if she’d be at the convention this year, and Gamble responded that she will be there with The Magicians and “more panel [details] to follow”.

Last year’s panel included series stars Jason Ralph, Stella Mave, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, as well as Gamble and executive producer John McNamara. There’s no word yet on which cast members would be making the trek for SDCC 2018 — but you can probably expect a similar roster of talent.

Gamble also suggested she may be at the convention with more than just The Magicians — though the only other series she’s working on that would really make sense is You, the upcoming series for Lifetime based on the Caroline Kepnes novel that Gamble co-created with Greg Berlanti. It stars Penn Badgley as a bookstore manager who becomes obsessed with one of his customers, and comes out in September. While it’s not exactly traditional Comic-Con genre fare, Gamble and Berlanti being behind the project could be enough to tip the scales into seeing it at SDCC this July.

Either way, Syfy’s Comic-Con schedule is slowly coming together, with early hints of appearances from both Wynonna Earp Deadly Classand .
