The biggest discoveries at Comic-Con aren’t always found in the largest booths. Artist Don Nguyen is once again organizing The Indie Floor Tour, which invites attendees to explore Artist Alley and Small Press while discovering independent creators, picking up free swag, and entering to win prizes along the way.

While no purchase is necessary to participate, the Floor Tour is designed to shine a spotlight on independent creators throughout the show floor. It’s a fun excuse to discover a few new favorite artists, pick up some free swag, and maybe leave Comic-Con with a prize or two… and a new favorite vendor.

Beginning Thursday, July 23, participating creators including Committed Comics, Patrick Scullin, Travis Hanson, 2510 Press, Hero Tomorrow Comics, White Ash Comics, Geekscape, and more will each be handing out one free promotional item while supplies last to anyone who stops by their booth and mentions the Floor Tour. 

Pick up a game card at any participating booth, then collect a free item and checkmark at each stop. This year’s giveaways include art prints, postcards, bookmarks, and more. Rumor has it one participating artist may even be offering quick doodles.

DAILY GRAND PRIZES

Once you’ve filled your game card, return it to Don Nguyen at Artist Alley Booth #AA-22 to be entered into the daily prize drawing. Entries must be turned in at least one hour before the Exhibit Hall closes each day, with winners drawn Thursday through Sunday. You only need to enter once, as entries automatically roll over into the remaining drawings. Winners don’t need to be present, but prizes must be claimed before Comic-Con ends on Sunday.

This year’s prize lineup includes a LEGO Ninjago Legends set, a Committed Comics grab bag, a Warhammer art book, JoyToy Warhammer figures, and more.
