Nick Kremenek San Diego Comic-Con Online 2021 Exclusives [UPDATE July 24]

Nick Kremenek, better known to his friends and fans as Dreamforger Studios, brings his uniquely brilliant sense of humor back to San Diego Comic-Con@Home with his 2021 exclusives. If you liked his Independence Day print last year, you’ll love what he has in store for 2021.

Here’s a recap of everything happening in Kremenek’s Etsy store this week, with more details below.

[UPDATE July 18]

It’s not the years, honey, it’s the mileage.

There’s plenty of mileage to be found on Nick Kremenek’s second Comic-Con@Home exclusive, a 40 Years of Adventure” Collector Coin which pays tribute to four decades of one of, if not the the, best action adventures of all time — Raiders of the Lost Ark.

This 2″ collector coin is antique gold plated to give it a nice aged look, and depicts the Headpiece to the Staff of Ra from the 1981 film. In the center rests an amber-colored rhinestone (which legend has it can be used to reveal the location of the Ark of the Covenant, but you didn’t hear it from us).

The back of the medallion-inspired coin features a redrawing of the Ark of the Covenant, as well as the phrase spoken by Marcus Brody in the beginning of the film: “An army that carries the ark before it is invincible”.

Both sides of the coin also feature different markings, to mimic the original medallion design.

It’s a beautiful piece, worthy of any modern-day Indiana Jones.

You can pre-order the coin for $25 starting Monday, July 19 at 9AM PT through his Dreamforger Etsy shop — and all pre-orders will also receive free domestic shipping.

[UPDATE July 15]

“I ain’t afraid of no ghost!” Kremenek’s exclusive for 2021 celebrates true New York heroes, the Ghostbusters. First, he invites you to live in the swanky Spook Central… er, Shandor Building, in the highly desirable Central Park West neighborhood (no pets). Turn out the lights, and you’ll see what you’re really in for when you move in. Choose your apartment wisely, as some of these units go frighteningly fast.

Regular editions are available on 11″ x 17″ paper for $19.99, but you can snag his SDCC exclusive prints on 12” x 18” French Paper Parchtone Natural paper for $34.99 with the added bonus of a Glow-In-The-Dark layer featuring a redrawing of the famous Gozer Temple Door seen at the end of the original movie. These prints will only be available from starting Monday 19 at 9AM PT -Sunday, July 25 via his Etsy shop, so you’ll need to order one before the door closes on this opportunity forever.

Need even more of a reason to purchase Kremenek’s amazing artwork during Comic-Con@Home? For every item purchased through his Etsy store between now (yes, right now) and the end of Comic-Con@Home, he will be giving away an 18″x24″ Firefly poster each day between Thursday, July 22 – Sunday, July 25.

For every item you purchase, you will receive a virtual raffle ticket (and even be e-mailed your virtual tickets, so you have a fun digital item) — meaning if you purchase ten items, you will receive ten virtual raffle tickets. At the end of each day, a winner will be randomly selected to win that day’s poster giveaway (which includes free shipping for the poster as well). Thursday, July 22’s poster giveaway will be Persephone, with other poster giveaway designs still to be revealed.
