One of my favorite traditions is wandering Artist Alley and the show floor, exploring the beautiful work of artists I’m unfamiliar with. You never know what you could stumble upon — whether it’s a piece of your favorite fandom, or something entirely new that stops you in your tracks and makes you want to know everything about it and the person who made it.
You’ll likely experience both at Chris Maze (Dial R Studios)’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con. Over the last several years, his following at the convention has only grown, as he’s showcased everything from pieces inspired by Severance to Super Nintendo. His style is immediately recognizable — bold, detailed, and infused with a genuine love for the source material that you can feel even across the screen. That’s the thing about finding an artist at SDCC: when it clicks, it really clicks. You walk away with something for your wall and, if you’re lucky, a conversation you didn’t expect.
This year, Chris is back at SDCC, in his usual spot at Booth #2103, and he’s got a new collection of debut prints and 3″x3″ originals that are worth building your show floor route around.
Want to ensure you get your hands on any of these amazing prints, stickers, and more? Maze is once again offering pre-orders on his online shop, starting Wednesday, June 24 at 9am PT through Sunday, June 28, for on-site pick-up. This ensures your items are safe and waiting for you to pick them up at Booth #2103.
[UPDATE June 22]
There’s room for one more announcement, right? If you ascribe to the Pokémon theory of “gotta catch ’em all” and love everything Maze has created this year (as you should), then you can pick up his Premiere Pack when pre-orders open on Wednesday, June 24 – Sunday, June 28. It includes every SDCC debut this year, including both The Vampire Lestat “The Bloody Bundle” and the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End “What Would Himmel Do?” bundle. You can get everything for just $200, which is over $40 in savings. And this Premiere Pack is only available online, and won’t be offered at the show.

“A Whole New X” 5″x5″ Print— $10
I can show you the world, shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, Rogue, now, when did you last let your heart decide?
A magic carpet ride gets a mutant makeover in this mashup of Disney’s Aladdin and the beloved Rogue/Gambit pairing from X-Men.

[UPDATE June 19]
Devour Sticker — $4
Praise Kier.
Inspired by Severance, this tongue-in-cheek sticker mashes up Shepard Fairey’s iconic OBEY aesthetic with Mr. Milchick’s unforgettable command to “devour feculence.” We’re not sure that Lumon would approve, but we do.

[UPDATE June 18]
“You’re Glowing, Mister Bones” Pin — $14
Chris Maze’s original character Mister Bones is getting the enamel pin treatment. Better yet, it comes “alive” at night, as this soft enamel pin also glows in the dark.

[UPDATE June 17]
“WWHD? Hero Edition” 5″x7″ Gold Foil Print — $18
Chris expands on yesterday’s sticker design with a gorgeous gold foil print, inspired by classic Disney storybook covers. Featuring Himmel with his iconic flower crown (not featured in the sticker!) and an ornate foil border, it transforms the tribute into something worthy of the legends told about him.

WWHD Bundle — $20
Can’t decide between the sticker and print? The bundle combines both versions of “WWHD?” into one package, making it easy to celebrate your favorite hero while saving a few dollars in the process.

[UPDATE June 16]
WWHD? Sticker — $4
What Would Himmel Do? That’s the question at the heart of this Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End-inspired sticker, which is designed like a stained-glass memorial honoring the beloved hero.

[UPDATE June 15]
“STREET FIGHT! Round Two” 5″x7″ Print — $15
Back for another round! This Street Fighter-inspired artwork returns in a new 5″x7″ format. It’s styled like a vintage fight poster and loaded with Easter eggs, while also serving as a love letter to one of gaming’s most iconic franchises just in time for the upcoming film adaptation.

[UPDATE June 14]
“Dream Getaway” 5″x7″ Print — $15
Celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda with this travel poster-inspired print paying homage to the classic Game Boy Link’s Awakening. It’s designed in the style of vintage National Park artwork and packed with references to Koholint Island — and it’s also a nice addition to those who have already collected Chris’s earlier Animal Crossing or New Horizons Await travel posters in the same style.

[UPDATE June 13]
“Created, Not Chosen” 5″x7″ Print — $15
Originally featured in Gallery1988’s Pokémon exhibition (where it was one of the top sellers), this fan-favorite piece returns to as an open edition print just in time for San Diego Comic-Con. The 5″x7″ print depicts Mew and Mewtwo coming together to form a Poké Ball. The power of teamwork.

[UPDATE June 12]
“Descending Moon” 7″x5″ Print — $15
At first glance, the legendary artist J.C. Leyendecker and Sailor Moon might not seem like two inspirations you’d ever expect to see together. But Chris bridges the gap beautifully with this reimagining of one of Leyendecker’s most famous illustrations, replacing the original figures with Princess Serenity and Tuxedo Mask. Known for his elegant compositions and iconic magazine covers (including creating over 300 covers for The Saturday Evening Post), Leyendecker helped shape American illustration in the early 20th century, influencing generations of artists who followed. The result is both a love letter to Sailor Moon and a tribute to an artist whose work deserves to be rediscovered.

[UPDATE June 11]
“Sherwood Siesta” 7″x5″ Print — $15
Even heroes need a nap. Inspired by Disney’s Robin Hood, this 5″x7″ print reimagines the legendary outlaw as a realistic fox enjoying some well-earned rest after another successful day outsmarting Prince John.

[UPDATE June 10]
“Into the Knight” 7″x5″ Print — $15
Originally created as a one-of-a-kind canvas piece, this artwork races into SDCC as a print debut. Featuring the 1989 Batmobile tearing through the snow, the blazing thrusters subtly form the silhouette of the Dark Knight himself. It’s a piece that Gotham would be proud of.

[UPDATE June 9]
“Friends Everywhere” Sticker — $4
Rebellions are built on hope — and apparently stickers too. Inspired by Andor, this 2.3″x4″ sticker design spotlights Luthen Rael, the spymaster whose sacrifices helped lay the groundwork for the Rebel Alliance. It’s small enough for a laptop, water bottle, or convention badge case, and it’s a good way of showing which side of the revolution you’re on (or that you have friends, you definitely have friends).

[UPDATE June 8]
“The Vampire: Crimson Reign” 13″x19″ Variant — $65
For fans who want something a little more of a backstage pass, Chris is also offering a larger 13″x19″ version of his print “The Vampire”. Each SDCC-exclusive print is hand-embellished with unique ink splatter effects, meaning no two are exactly alike. Signed, numbered, and drenched in vampire rock star energy.

The Bloody Bundle — $100
But why settle for one immortal artwork when you can have the whole coven? This SDCC-exclusive bundle includes both the original 5″x7″ version and the 13″x19″ unique ink splattered versions of “The Vampire” print, along with an 8″x8″ version of Maze’s sold-out Interview with the Vampire artwork (inspired by Interview with the Vampire‘s opening credits from the first two seasons). The bonus print won’t be sold separately, though, so if you’re truly looking to embrace the dark gift, you’ll want the full package.
If you want to ensure you can sink your fangs into this, make sure you stay tuned for the pre-order window, but this will also be available in very limited quantities on-site.

[UPDATE June 7]
“The Vampire” 5″x7″ Print — $15
The Vampire Lestat is hitting the road this week (premiering tonight at 9pm AMC, and already streaming on AMC+!), but he’ll finish off his tour with a stop at San Diego Comic-Con, in the form of this 5″x7″ print from Chris Maze. The concert poster-inspired piece sees Lestat on a fictional “Crimson Reign Tour”, complete with tour stops in locations pulled from the world of Interview with the Vampire. And naturally, there’s a stop for the Brat Prince in San Diego (representing the date of their first appearance at the con back in 2022).
Look closely and you’ll spot a clever touch: the negative space in the stage lights forms a pair of fangs. This is a must-have for the Beautiful Unwell.

[UPDATE June 6]
GEEK Summer Camp: Neon Vibes Pin — FREE with $50 Purchase
We always joke that San Diego Comic-Con is like summer camp… but it really is, and you can celebrate that special feeling of returning to our home base with Chris Maze’s annual Geek Summer Camp pin. There’s an all-new neon colorway for 2026, and just like in previous years, it will be available for free with any $50 or more purchase, while supplies last.
